So you have decided to build or remodel a kitchen. This requires plenty of foresight and planning in order to get the job done right. So, there are several items that you should take into account in creating your kitchen.

Bacon[edit | edit source]

Everybody likes bacon! (Except a few Muslims and Jews, but they don't count.) So you should certainly take bacon into consideration in planning your kitchen. What is a kitchen without bacon? How can you please a man without bacon? You can cook bacon in the microwave, but some say it is best fried. So you will need...

Frying Pans[edit | edit source]

Frying pans can be big or small. You will need a frying pan for the bacon of course, but how about the eggs and pancakes or french toast? So you may need a set of frying pans. You will also need...

Spatulas[edit | edit source]

What good is bacon if you cannot flip it over so that it is properly done on both sides, and not burnt onto the frying pan? Many like bacon, but few like burned bacon. So to avoid burned bacon, you must acquire a spatula. If you have teflon pans, you will need a plastic spatula to avoid scratching the pan. But if you have metal pans, a metal spatula will do. Of course, you will need to heat the bacon first, so you will need...

A Stove[edit | edit source]

Nobody likes raw bacon, so you must have a stove, or if you are in a hurry, a microwave. But a stove is better because the bacon gets nice and crispy around the edges, and you can watch it cook instead of having to peek every 30 seconds or so. Besides, it makes a yummy sizzling sound, not just a tiny little sizzle like you might get from a microwave, and the smell is more delicious. Now, its time to put the rest of the opened raw package of bacon away, unless you plan on cooking up the whole thing and eating it within four hours (food safety first). You will need...

A Refrigerator[edit | edit source]

If your bacon is too hot to eat, you can either wait for it to cool, or put it in the fridge. A refrigerator is not only good for storing bacon, but for storing many other tasty things, like leftover pizza for instance, and day-old spaghetti, along with milk, cheese, yogurt, mushrooms, pickles, olives, fruits and vegetables. The bigger the refrigerator, the more food you can store (or lose in the back of the refrigerator, if you're unlucky). The size of your budget is one measure of your luck, so if you have a big budget, buy a big fridge, and if you have a small budget, get a smaller fridge. Or if you already have a fridge that works that you are sentimental about, have a heart and keep the fridge.
