Encyclopedia Dramatica (Scientific name: Internetus Edgelordius), also known as ED, the Great Garbage Fire of 2004, or That Site Your IT Department Warned You About, is an online collection of everything that makes the internet want to take a long, cold shower.
While Uncyclopedia is the "Silly Sister" of the internet, ED is the "Angry Step-Brother" who lives in a basement, listens to distorted static, and thinks that being mean is a personality trait.
History[edit | edit source]
ED was founded in 2004 by a group of individuals who decided that Wikipedia was "too factual" and "not offensive enough." Since then, the site has been deleted, moved, resurrected, and cursed by ancient deities more times than Rinny has "accidentally" tripped someone into a blender.
In 2026, the site is mostly used as a historical archive for people who want to remember what it was like to be thirteen years old and angry at a cloud.
