The soundless urinary angle (latin tacic fluism) is the angle at which pee does not make noise upon striking the toilet bowl or other urinary target.
The Physics of Urination[edit | edit source]
There are two forces acting on pee during the process of urination. The horizontal force of the urine is from being pushed forward out of the penis. Gravity is the second force, accelerationg the pee toward the ground at a rate of 10 meters a second squared. If either the vertical or the horizontal force is too strong, or hypersonable, the pee will make noise upon hitting the toilet bowl. The soundless urinary angle is therefore the angle where both the vertical and horizontal forces are both low enough to not make a sound, or subsonable.
