Twin Peaks is a fictional town somewhere in America that was founded by hair stylist and film director David Lynch and his good old friend Mark Frost in 1990. The town was brought to national attention in real-time through the popular ABC TV show of the same name.

The show ran for only a short time between 1990 and 1991 yet touched the hearts of thousands, turned into top-grade water cooler talk in offices across the country, and ultimately left its dwindling number of viewers with a horribly unfair trick ending. With its rich history, eye-catching landmarks, bizarre culture, and world-renowned law enforcement team, the town became a symbol of what the country could look like when pumped up on drugs and a little David Lynch.
