A Farmers' Market is a collective term used for a market, where farmers sell their produce to gullible suburban homemakers, for the promise of better environmental karma. At the market, the produce is often lightly coated with sterilised fake mud, to create a more rustic feel, thus justifying the outrageous price tags. Farmers' Markets are at the center of several recent scandals, where illegal substances were found in raids conducted by the USDA with the support of the FBI.
