Not today, thank you[edit | edit source]
I was on a tall building and was found by an NPC boss. I ran, as I had no good weapons. On my way I smashed a box (without thinking) and the toolbox above it gave me a tire. I jumped off the edge, bounced off a lower floor with the tire (which I threw at just the right moment), and landed into water half a mile lower than that. Narrowly avoiding an NPC without taking any fall damage and without thinking. Epic.
Why I never play duos[edit | edit source]
With a teammate like mine, I shouldn't even reboot them. Noob.
My teammate was killed, and I continue to loot chests. That one sheild saved my life. I was on one fucking health, and I used the sheild and baited this one bastard away from their teammate. Before the sheild ran out of energy, I switched to a shotgun and gave 'em hell (specifically, two headshots), before they could get one single hit in. I killed that player's teammate after healing, and rebooted my teammate (which was a noob mistake on my part).
Later my teammate decided to ("no, no. Please don't do what I think you are going to do..") attack a bot (WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN HIRED!!!), attracting more enemy players. I managed to kill the bot, but I had to run from the other players, with a reboot card in my pockets.
So I rebooted my teammate ("what more harm could he cause?"). Then I end up knocked down later in an unfair 2 v 1. I had no faith in my teammate, who was miles away, and decided it wasn't even worth it.
This is why I never play duos.
It's an AFK guy! (Part of the "how to win" series)[edit | edit source]
Sit in a building and wait. You will eventually win. Of course, murder everyone who walks past the fairly obvious hole in the wall, and people who stand at the top of the staircase behind you and go AFK, and belive me, they will.
When the time to run from the storm comes, all you need is one Deku's Smash and an assault rifle. If you see a wooden tower on a hill, use Deku's Smash on it. Meanwhile, a guy will sneak towards you, so take them out with your rifle, dodging their bullets with extreme simpleness skill, and destroying all the walls they build to try to protect themselves with. As you commit the eighth murder this match, the guy you hit with Deku's Smash from the now-destroyed tower decides to go AFK in the storm, making that 9 murders. Now it's just you and somebody else. Run up a hill, and wait. Maybe start dancing. You will eventually and suddenly win.
And all I did was sit in a building and wait. Albeit doing all of the above too.
