Over the next few months I immerse myself in the life of Rick Astley, from his humble beginnings in some dusty northern English town called Newton-le-Willows, St Helens, to his job as a tea boy in a recording studio. I learned of his early love of Soul Music, and the hard work and dedication to his craft. I also learned of his shy nature and his desire to stay out of the limelight. But most of all, I learned to hate the bastard.
