Hello. I'm Roman Polanski and I'd like to ask a question — should art be judged by the character of the artist? If an impish film director gets caught in a hot tub mix-up with a thirteen year old girl — just a funny mix-up where he accidentally gives her Quaaludes and attempts to rest his penis on her ovaries — would you still see his films? What if one of those films is Pirates?

They say that only a fool watches the finger that points at the stray meteorite about to form an impact crater in their skull. In other words, look at the sky or get the fuck out of there. Also, don't shoot the messenger. Even if the messenger likes little girls.
