See, the thing is, Ashter tends to be a massive dickhead. You could assume, then, that he got this from his family; the question, where did they get it from? Ashter's Grandfather, of course. In fact, this guy is such an ass, that he decides to randomly possess golden statues, trees, and various other objects in order to screw things up for the protagonist or put innocent people in harm's way.
