One friday afternoon while getting stoned in the basement, you and your friends are talking about music. Suddenly, one of your friends comes up with an idea. LET'S START A BAND! The next day, after the drugs wear off, everyone decides it is an excellent idea. Your now on the quest of becoming a rockstar.

Choosing an instrument[edit | edit source]

A smart choice when starting a band is to learn an instrument. The guitar is one of the most popular instruments beginners choose. If you decide to play the guitar, force everyone else to play a less noticed instrument such as bass or keyboard. You have to become the most important person in the band so it is recommended you play the guitar. It has benefits when you become a full blown rockstar such as more girls and more money, the two most wanted things in rock and life in general. When choosing a guitar in the store, find one that has interesting graphics that will look even better while being smashed or stoned. After learning to play an instrument you can move on to other matters.

Band Matters[edit | edit source]

First matter is choosing a name for your new band. If your lazy or too high to think just call the band your name followed by "experience". If your not a lazy sack of shit, come up with a cool name for the band. Many rock bands have names to do with their favorite past times such as drug use, sex, and parties. The next and most important band issue is who gets the money. Well, it is incredibly obvious that you want to get this job. It is handy when restocking the bands equipment like weed and all those 12 packs needed for the gig next weekend. The last issue is actually writing songs. They should give insight on important issues such as corrupt governments, serial killings, and the growing level of drug use. Don't exclude any of these ideas while writing song or your band will never even leave the garage.
