As I was visiting my local sophisticated record store (known in some cultures as iTunes) I came upon an interesting album. I actually don't remember anything else, but I guess I must have bought it, because now its in my library, along with 12 copies of Regina Spektor's "Begin to Hope". I was probably high; I don't know. Somewhat conveniently, I also noticed I was overdue for an album review on my extremely popular internet blog (23 hits!). So, why not? I plugged the old headphones into the Gateway and let 'er rip.

First Impressions[edit | edit source]

Looks pretty fun.

Whoa, this album cover is cool as shit. I mean, I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to be, but it's, like, totally freaky. That would be a crazy pool party. I mean, it looks a little crowded, and I might not dig the animals, but someone, intentional or not, is bound to be getting some action there. I mean, look at that gorilla. He's totally eying the chick in the red hat.

Eyin' that piece of meat.

Too bad it looks like the chick in the red hat is already interested in the chick in the black hat. Wow, I haven't even listened to the album and this is already getting intense. Also, the lack of artist or album title on the cover is mysterious. I mean, I see it right here in iTunes, but I can just close my eyes and pretend I never saw it. Anyway, let's start off with the first track.

Comfy In Nautica[edit | edit source]

Train sounds...

Enter clapping rhythm...

Chant...

The song is jacked up on reverb so I'm not exactly what the guy is saying but it's probably about drugs. "La la la...good time, have a good time". Yeah, it's definitely about drugs. Speaking of drugs, I kind of need some. Like, now. Problem is, my dealer just got busted. I don't think it was anything big, like .2 or .3 grams, but I think he's got some time on him. Who the fuck do those cops think they are, busting random people just for weed? You know who the real criminals are? The rapists, the murderers, not us! And--oh, the song's over.

Official rating is Drugs/10.

Take Pills[edit | edit source]

Well, well. Seems the guy who was afraid of saying drugs in that other song just got some balls.
