The Loud Computer Voice that Counts Backwards, or LCVCB for short, is exactly what he sounds like. He is literally a Loud Computer Voice, that counts backward from 10. He usually works with Nasa and The military for rocket launches, but occasionally does contract work with space mountain at Disneyland and Holly Wood producers.

Life History[edit | edit source]

Youth To Young Adult[edit | edit source]

As a young pocket watch, LCVCB did quite poorly in Circular Measurement Device School. He was often bullied by the other watches because his hour and minute hand went backwards. His teacher, Mr. Sundial, often felt frustrated when he tried to teach LCVCB how to tell time. Despite doing poorly in CMD school, Mr. Sundial was a great inspiration in his great life to come.

In the 1940's, LCVCB became a Car Speedometer. Although his employer was a compassionate man who saw past LCVCB's counting deficiency and adjusted the dial to have the top speed side on the left of the ark instead of the right. These were quite happy years for LCVCB, and he worked hard to ensure that the speedometer's accuracy was second to none. However, this time of employment was short, as LCVCB felt as if life had a greater calling for him. Little did he know the destiny that would unfold before him.

Later life[edit | edit source]

After seeing an ad in 1949 about an ad about stopwatches being needed for the game show, A Minute to Win it, LCVCB immediately applied for the job. Being the best circular measuring device that could count backward, he got the job. He became a famous celebrity, and through his fame he met his wife, Catherine, and had 2 beautiful children, Carl and Sandy. Several years passed for LCVCB, and he was featured on many magazine articles as "The most accurate counter-downer this world has ever seen".

Current[edit | edit source]

Ever since he was featured on a minute to win it, LCVCB has become a celebrity with a moderate fan base and respect among his colleges. He has been featured in many television shows and movies. He even has a song written after him; the Final Countdown by the 1980's sensation Europe. Being a philanthropist, LCVCB has started several local charities in his community, such as a youth watch battery replacement hospital, and a retirement center for analog clocks. He works hard to ensure that his charities are always well funded and operated, and many have testified to the excellent service at each of his local community centers.

The Great Apollo Mission Incident[edit | edit source]

In the 1950s, LCVCB saw an opening for fuel gauge on Apollo 13. As he had always been interested in space and the unknown, he immediately applied for the job. Unfortunately, his rival, Gauge that makes Booping Noise when Almost Empty (or GBAE) got the job instead of him. Infuriated, LCVCB marched over to the control room, and hacked into the speaker system. He proceeded to count down from 5 minutes, insisting that the Apollo spacecraft could only launch once the 5 minutes were up. He said that he had hoped to stall the NASA employees enough to hurt their stock prices and keep them from doing anything productive. His plan backfired. The NASA employees liked the countdown so much that they immediately requested that he be hired for the job. To this very day, LCVCB assists NASA and the Government in missile and rocket countdowns.

The Accidentally triggered self-destruct sequence of 1973[edit | edit source]

Shortly after the US and Russia put the first international space station into orbit, some bozo accidentally spilled their coffee on the main control panel, activating the self destruct sequence. Sweeping into action, LCVCB hi-jacked the Space station controls and started counting down from 10 minutes. He stalled the self destruct sequence long enough to allow all the researchers aboard the space station to get to the escape pods, thus saving their lives. He was declared an international hero, and to this day he claims that the ceremony was his proudest moment.

Legacy[edit | edit source]

The loud computer voice that counts backward has impacted the world in a great way. He has given drunk people something to say on January 1st, and he has entertained employees at corporate launches. He has been featured in virtually every science-fiction movie ever to have existed. His charity work has given Watches and dials a meaning to live. He has improved the world via counting backwards, thanks to the watchmaker that screwed up big time.
