My Custom Templates[edit | edit source]

Okay, so here are the customized templates I have made. You can use them for whatever you like, or modify them, or outright steal them, or upload them to a service and charge people for them, I care not, as I have decided to make them public domain!

Just alt+printscreen, crop to the templates, and save them as images. Or, alternatively, you can copy the Wiki markup code from below as text and insert it into the page of your choice as templates instead of images.

Modified Sexy Template:[edit | edit source]

If you saw this awesome god-like figure it's possible that you might fall to the ground and

worship him/her, or spontaneously combust from an explosion of extreme sexual desire. , or orgasm, or Insanity, whichever comes first!

Page and comment backgrounds[edit | edit source]

I have found a way to outline comments and pages so they look like they're floating. I got this from the Runescape wiki , so all credit is attributed to them!

Note: the above link connects to the RS wiki's all-inclusive editing page, which while neglecting some elements, includes some Wikia exclusive element that Wikipedia's wiki markup editing page does not.

This is an example of the feature in use.

The line of html used to do this is: <div style="background:yellow; border:2px solid blue; width:100%; height:250px;">
to put certain text below your newly created window, even if the window is not full, type </div> after the text you want to remain in the box.

Features of this line:

  • the "<>" element enclosures signify to the editing engine the beginning and end of the line

  • the "div" element tells the editor that a line of html has begun

  • The "style=" element is the element after which all the colors and sizes of the box are typed. This can also be used for templates.

  • The quotation marks close the style, so the editor doesn't percieve non-code text after your line that may just happen to be an html tag as additional code.

  • the "background=yellow" element says that the background color is yellow. You can change this color to one of 10 pre-defined colors Wikia has, or you can insert hexadecimal values (example: #FF0000, this will create the color red) for the colors.
  • the "border:2px" element tells the editor how wide the border (the colored area around the box) is. You can change the number to increase or decrease the border's width. Changing it to "0px" will make the border dissapear.

  • The "solid blue;" element says what color the border is. Again, this can be changed to whatever color you damn well please.

  • The "Width:100%; element says how much of the page's width the box will cover.

  • The "height:250px;" element says how tall the box is. Again, this can be changed by changing the number!

  • an indent between the element (possibly another box) after the box can be achieved by typing "<br>" (inserts a line break) after the last line of text in the box as many times as you like. As i said, the more you repeat this element, the larger indent you achieve.
