Cherry Hill is a city in New Jersey, which to the surprise of cherry enthusiasts, HAS NO CHERRIES. Well, there are some cherries at Springdale Farm, but certainly not enough to name a whole city after them, and there are definitely no hills. So, why would such a large place be named after cherries and hills? It could be because they were trying to lure Jews and Asians away from the other more prosperous regions of the Philadelphia area, or because of the cherry-like shape of cocaine seeds.
