English[edit | edit source]

Verb[edit | edit source]

Cleave

  1. Meaning both "to separate" and "to join", cleave is one of the more ridiculous words used in the English language. It has caused many a confusing moment in scouting groups, baking classes, and childcare.

Offshoots[edit | edit source]

The term "Cleavage" is direct offshoot of this word - named so because of the mammary glands' ability to be pushed so closely together, yet be so far out of reach.
