Resident Grue[edit source]

Humour: | 1 | Welcome to Uncyclopedia, Felix, it's nice to see you've written your first article. That being said, it needs quite a bit of work. First, I think you should look over this and think about what you're writing- Grues are an in-joke, and although they're a little less repulsive then other in-jokes, it's still not very funny to hear them in 2009. Another problem is that you didn't really put much time or work into your article, making it a stub at best. You've got a lot of empty sections which need to be expanded on, and you need to make sure that everyone who reads the article will "get" it, so to speak, which i'll get into below. |
Concept: | 1 | Well, that is the problem with your concept: it's a very old in-joke and a very popular video game put together. If you actually want to make this work, you'll need to take some time to explain exactly what you're talking about. Porvide some helpful information about resident evil while you're writing your article, as to not confuse people who never play it. You also might want to draw parallels with Grues and Resident Evil, so maybe you should take a look at Game:Grueslayer. Also, make sure you mention all aspects of Resident Evil- where does Umbrella come in in all of this? |
Prose and formatting: | 2 | You've mispelled a couple of words, so i'd recommend you look over it. But the main problem here is the empty sections. You've got 3 or so sections which I presume you're going to work on, but you have to expand on them. And please don't make it just a typical "fanboy" syle, if you will- give us a good knowledge of the main characters, without seeming like you worship resident evil. |
Images: | 0 | You don't have any. Really, there are quite a few ways you could go here- maybe you could photoshop a picture of a grue into an in-game screenshot, or maybe make a fake game cover, like this. There are a lot of ideas for images, so keep an open mind. |
Miscellaneous: | 1 | My overall grade of the article. |
Final Score: | 5 | You're a new user, so this is understandably not a good article. 9 times out of 10, if you want to make a good article, all you have to do is keep working on it- don't just throw something together in 5 minutes, take some time to develop your concept and writing style. If you haven't looked at them already, i'd strongly recommend you take a look at BGBU and HTBFANJS- they're very helpful to new users, and might give you an idea of where you should take your article.
Bottom Line: Take some time to work on your article; pick an idea that people will understand. Good luck! =) |
