Grapes of Wrath[edit source]

Lol, it aint mine, lol. I dunno, but I think I like it, lol. It has no images, though, lol. Egypt_orb_spinning.gif 05:34, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Humour: 5.5 I have to admit, for an abandoned article written by either an inexperienced user or an IP, I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. The main problem is that it starts off relatively humorous, but then drifts into randomness ("Giraffe sex-scenes that Tom witnesses in Russia"). It doesn't necessarily need to be steamrolled- but the middle and bottom sections need to be reworked to avoid red links and sex jokes.
Concept: 6 An article about a famous Great Depression novel that overuses the word "Lol". I actually think the concept can be worked out quite well, but as of now, it's very rough around the edges- it seems that the writer ran out of ideas towards the end and simply decided to go with whatever random thought popped through his/her head. With some fine tuning, though, it has the potential to be hilarious.
Prose and formatting: 2 Since it's meant to overuse the word "lol" repeatedly, I didn't really expect much in the way of formatting. In pretty much all the sections beyond "Plot Snyposis", there is way to many spelling errors, red links, and short sections. The entire article needs to be proofread, because it squanders the potential it has because of it's hideous formatting errors.
Images: 0 Like you already said, there aren't any.
Miscellaneous: 3 Overall article grade.
Final Score: 16.5 I love the potential it has- I genuinely laughed at the first part of the article. Mam00sha, if you plan on rewriting this, here are some things you should do: first, look over "Plot Snyposis" for spelling errors and sex jokes- those kind of things drag down the article as a whole. Second, either seriously change or altogether get rid of the "Movie Adaption", "Famous Quotes", "Trivia", and "See Also" sections- they're full of red links and not even remotely funny. Finally, put in some images. Since the whole idea is to overuse the word "lol", I recommend altering the movie poster (which you can find here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wrathposters141.jpg) to include the word "lol" everywhere. Great concept, relatively funny, needs a MAJOR rewirte. Good luck! =)
