Poetry for people who hate poetry |
Poetry is poetry and Poetry is prose.
From the pretty lines and the actually real lines..
I had a hose and that hose was decorated with a rose.
And the water poured out of the metal blight.
"Look! Look!"
A man may cry.
"HE TOOK HE TOOK!"
The thief might pass by.
Whatever it may be, ever so subtrillicantly.
Poetry is poetry and Poetry is prose.
And it's so memorable it'll never leave your nose.
Bippity boppity boo..
As Pikachu will never choose you.
Because he doesn't exist within the human realm.
If he tried he'd just melt.
Poetry is poetry and poetry is prose.
That's just how life is and how the story goes.
The man in steel isn't made of actual steel.
In fact he doesn't even exist.
Neither do the mutants of marvel or the metas of DC.
They're fiction in the fictionest sense.
Poetry is poetry and poetry is prose.
And poetry goes on since going on is all it knows.
Looking at the examples above.
It seems clear why they're easy to love.
It's because like a feathery dove.
It's saved and paved to fit like a glove.
So Poetry is poetry and poetry is prose.
and it acts correctly because I told it so.
You may wonder how my elegantiffity is continuingally.
How it has rhythm and melody despite being typed on keys.
Instead of played by the piano.
Well Poetry is poetry and poetry is prose.
That's the answer, it was right on your nose.
Since it never left your heart or your eyes.
Or your age or your child or your mind.
Or if you don't have a child, good on you.
Because I don't need to be yelled at too.
Just because Poetry is poetry and poetry is prose.
Doesn't mean I need to assume everything y'know?
Let's go counting,
It'll be the most wonderful kind of counting.
To be a poet you need to learn even insignificant things.
Assuming you're a homosapian from the planet earth.
Who has no disabilities or defects from birth.
You have ten fingers and ten fingers to rebirth.
So count a one and a two and a three and a four.
Keep the a to count a five a six and a seven
a eight a nine and a ten and then start again.
Because POETRY IS POETRY AND POETRY IS PROSE.
I'VE SAID THIS ENOUGH, IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS UNLESS THE ONLY THING OCCUPYING YOUR BRAIN IS A GHOST.
