UnNews talk:Veteran punk rocker laments demolition of club he once trashed
Hey -- excellent yarn. And I'm all with your man Stollsteimer or whoever. I'm sick of all the notorious bloodhouses in my neighbourhood being turned into fashion boutiques. And I'm still pissed off that the bookshop became a tooth-whitening parlour. -- Sir Armando Perentie KUN FP 10:44, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

My first UnNews article. Please pee freely. Advice about formatting welcome. Was shooting for a tension-between-authoritative-narration-and-ludicrous-subject-matter thing. --Placid Casual 13:07, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I like the irony in it. I personally think it looks nice as it is now. Possibly even more exaggeration on the vandalistic attempts would pump it up to drive the point home (burn the whole place down to the ground?), but I guess there is a danger of overdoing it that way. Nice job. Dutchy 13:23, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- I agree - I like it! --Striderstrahan 11:04, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I thought about having him burn it to the ground (that actually happened to a few venues in Southern California), but I had to leave something to be demolished, so that the punk would have something to object to. --Placid Casual 00:05, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it is in the past, so repeated burnings/demolitions and rebuilds would be possible. But as I said, you do run a risk of exaggeration, so you're probably best of leaving it like this. Dutchy 11:28, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
