UnNews talk:Thailand now 60% "less funny"

Gary Glitter's beard appeared in Vietnam, not Thailand. It did of course, along with his shiny bald head, make the entire south-east-asian region look ridiculous.

During my extensive fact checking for this piece I noted that Mr. Glitter (or just plain 'Gary' to his play mates) actually travelled to Thailand from Vietnam during his beard phase. I was assuming that he took the beard with him, and didn't just leave it under the bed in his hotel, but I might be wrong on that point. --Sir Hardwick Fundlebuggy (Bleat) 11:51, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
