Mrs Trellis is an in-joke from ISIHAC, plus the whole point of the joke was that Plank actually doesnt do anything bad to get his heart rate up because he's so awfully British.

Unless there's some dead-parrot sketch joke that passed me by? Freemorpheme.gif 08:24, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Kind of... I got the idea in one - but I figured that the parrot thing added to it because it seemed funnier to me if Plank (also a reference? - an old silent film with Eric Sykes) tried really hard to be British, but then just couldn't help punching a parrot right at the end - because of all the coffee or something. I always try to take a funny idea and then add something to push it in a new direction. And yes, a parrot because of MP and Britishness. I'd forgotten about Mrs. Trellis on ISIHAC though. --Sir Hardwick Fundlebuggy (Bleat) 09:06, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Nothing so erudite with me, I just called it that because Hugh Grant is a bit of a plank. And it rhymed. I added a bit to try and get the thrust of your joke, but parrot was a bit random for me. I'm pleased someone read it, though! Freemorpheme.gif 11:33, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
