Thai red shirts are treated like Star Trek red shirts, they are paid a salary but are expendable and the former Prime Minster pays them to shoot people, throw rocks, and blow stuff up via terrorism. These are poor Thai people he is paying money and food to protest for him. So it is astroturf and not true grass roots. Now all they don't need is the Thai version of Guy Falkes that is a hired red shirt that really starts blowing things up to cause a revolution. Let us hope and pray (or keep in your thoughts if you are not religious) for a peaceful ending to this without more loss of lives and property damage. The yellow shirts support the Thai King but since he got sick they now wear Pink Shirts who support the king of Thailand. The Thai government does need a reform to get rid of corruption but it was more corrupt over the former Prime Minster who lied, cheated, and stole over $3 billion Thai Bhat and then left the country to Singapore when the public found out how much he screwed them over. It would be like if George W. Bush served a third term in the USA, if this former prime minster gets back into power via the red shirts, as Adolf Hitler did just that with his brown shirts.
