WARSAW, Poland -- Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski and his identical twin brother President Lech Kaczynski today admitted that they have often switched places in order to shake up the stodgy post-communist government of Poland and have a bit of fun with MPs and government ministers. As joint leaders of the pro-Western reformist Law and Justice party, this has come as a surprise to many voters who expected a bit more professionalism on their part. Party spokesman Janus Bylok delivered a prepared statement following the announcement, pledging that Law and Justice Memebrs of Parliament would continue to support the Kaczynski twins.
Members of the pro-Russian Reformed Communist Party were quick to denounce the Kaczynskis as CIA puppets. Opposition leader Wordt Stanislauski thudered at the Prime Minister on Tuesday's session of Parliament, hinting at a Vote of No Confidence against the Government. "We poles cannot let these Americanski backed fools run the nation like it was a bad remake of Animal House, he said from the rostrum.
Brussles based technocrats had little to say about their fellow European Union member, noting only that the separation of powers doctrine may have breach when the twin brothers were elected, meaning that the entire arrangement was sanctioned by the voters, who should have expected such boyish pranks from the Kaczynskis.
