UnNews:Todd Lyons "bigger than Jesus"

23 June 2006
On this day The Uncyclopedian Standard has published a lengthy interview with dead Beatle John Lennon, in which he has proclaimed that “Todd Lyons is more popular than Jesus”.
The interview caused little controversy upon release in England and Canada, but as WASPs woke up this morning in the midwest of America, a massive campaign to destroy Uncyclopedia began. In Texas many people paraded burning effigies of Oscar Wilde throughout the streets, whilst in rural Idaho armed mobs burned their Euroipods.
Though Lennon apologised for the comments, his remarks were seen by many as representative of the opinions of many within Uncyclopedia. "Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue about that. I'm right and I will be proved right. Todd Lyons is more popular than Jesus now."
Jesus could not be reached for comment.

“Give me a call when you get a few more links.”
“I pwn you both... and Jesus too!”
