SEATTLE, WA- In an emotional press conference this morning, Seattle local Sinister Fog admitted to aiding a vampire in an escape from a murder scene. He went on to say that although he had made some mistakes, he is still a 'pretty good guy' once you get to know him.

The press conference came after numerous allegations that Sinister Fog was indeed the perpetrator of the murder. "I am not a crook," announced Fog at this morning's conference, "I was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time". He went on to retell, in detail, 'exactly' what happened on the night of the murder. "I was on my way to the waterfront when I heard some shouting, around Aurora Avenue. Before I knew it, a vampire had run into me and disappeared, losing the police who were chasing him."

Fog was then confronted by McGonigle, a detective for the Seattle Police Department, who accused him of conspiring to pervert the course of justice. Fog stuck to his defence that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The renegade McGonigle was escorted from the conference by security, but later vowed to '"Rub justice in Fog's motherfucking face".

Sinister Fog has been taken into custody for questioning.
