South Pole, Antarctica, There has been a uproar in Antarctica today. As the population rioted over a ruling from the Olympic committee to bar Antarctica from the Olympic games this year. Peter Voliski a prominent member of the committee had this to say.
"We really don't feel that Antarctica should be allowed to take part. It. It's not even a country. Not to mention it has a extremely low population. I don't think they even have enough people to take part."
Penguin Researcher and the sole resider of the island, Rose Blanca disagrees. "There is a very large Penguin population who are quite good at water polo. I feel that the Olympic Committee is being extremely unfair. Many of the Penguins are angry about the Committee's ruling. they are determined to change it.
Rose is a major supporter of the Penguin's plight and is organizing a rally to be held on "A giant Glacier" This upcoming monday.
"I hope it is a huge success." Rose said. "We cannot let this injustice go on any further."
When asked about the protests Peter Voliski had this to say:
"The Committee will not budge on it's decision. Antarctica is simply not a country. There isn't even a organized government there."
The Penguins will keep on fighting for justice despite Peter's comments. Many Chinese wonder what kind of impact this will have on the summer games which they hosting in their Capital City of Bejing. Win Su, a gold medalist in gymnastics expressed the fears of her fellow competitors.
"We fear there will be trouble. I can only hope that this conflict is resolved."
The Chinese Foreign minister issued this warning to Antarctica.
"We understand your displeasure over the committee's ruling. But if you try to interfere with the games this summer we will be forced to take drastic actions."
For now no one can tell how this will end all we can do is watch and wait.
Penguins may not be humans but they could get away with going to a formal dinner as a human.
Now, it's time to start getting those Peacocks into sports. Those motherfuckers can run.
