Nintendo annouced today that the successor to its popular Wii gaming console will be the Wii ii (pronounced weeeeeeeeeee!). When asked about the naming of the console, Nintendo's president stated that " we figured we would make its name relate more closely to the Nintendo Corporation as a whole. As you can see from our 12 year stock graphs, we tend to take investors on huge long term rides of extreme highs and terrifying lows."
The Wii ii will still utilize the WiiMote and the Nunchuck controllers; however, there will also be 2 new addon controllers, the WiiNis and the WiiGina.
The WiiNis will allow all of your favorite male Nintendo characters to interact with female characters and the WiiGina will allow all of your favorite female Nintendo characters to interact with the males. These 2 new controllers may also be used in two player mode as part of an expansion pack to the WiiFit product line called WiiGasm. In WiiGasm users will join the two controllers together and then take them apart as fast as they can in order to beat the other player to the WiiGasm. As soon as a WiiGasm is achieved, the winning controller turns itself off and will not operate again for at least 3 hours.
When asked about the availability projections for the new console, Nintendo said that it would limit releases to 100 consoles per week world wide in order to keep up demand and make it look like it is more popular than it is.
