Niedermeier Family Reunion - At least 7 people, 5 of which are believed to have been children, are dead and at least 107 injured as a turkey exploded at a park during a family reunion. Police say that the turkey-bomb was set off by a timer connected to a 10 gallon drum of oil. The blast happened inside a park in the Burglar region of Diyarbakir.
A group called the Kurdistan Freedom Cows or WXQ has claimed to be responsible for the blast. The group threatened Turkey last week when it posted a message on their website saying that they would turn the country "into hell" and put a stop to the consumption of milk by-products.
However, investigators are confused why the Kurds targeted a turkey and not a dairy plant.
