NEW YORK, New York: Estelle Getty, aging star of that stupid sitcom about old women Golden Girls, passed away unsurprisingly Tuesday this week at the age of 84.
Many expressed surprise that the actress, who suffered from advanced dementia and was living in a retirement home, had not already passed away. "She was still alive, huh," said New York local Jerry Fernandez. "Can't say I ever actually watched the show, I just figured all of those people had already died. I mean, they were pretty old when they were on there, right?"
All in all, this predictable death did not actually matter for anyone, as opposed to famous Hollywood hunk Heath Ledger's death, which changed everyone's life forever as they went through their deep grief.
