VATICAN CITY -- Today, in the world's smallest independent nation, President George W. Bush met Pope Benedict for the first time. "You know, at first I thought everyone was just talking about going to get some eggs," said the president, "and then when I figured out he was a person, I wondered what kind of technology we had created where we could raise the dead Benedict Arnold. However, it was just one of those old religious men with the funny robes, so I packed my Etch A Sketch and got on the plane." After arriving in Rome, The President went on some short tours before going to the meeting.

Upon arriving at the Vatican City, George finally stopped saying, "are we there yet?" and met some of the Vatican guards. He shook some hands, signed some autographs, and then proceeded through the gates. Throughout the sacred halls of the Vatican, Madonna's Like a Virgin was played specially for Bush's arrival. "I've always wanted to meet him [George Bush], I think he sounds like a really cool guy. I sometimes dream I'm the President of the United States, I get to order all these nice people into another country for vacation... My dream usually ends badly though, as most of the nice people come back from the country sad and they have boo-boo's." Stated Benedict.

When the two finally met, the music stopped, and the two embraced. It was awkward for some, but for the two of them, it was love at first sight. Eventually the two had to be separated by some of the Vatican guards. Then they posed for a brief photo-shoot, then proceeded to the Pope's Library for the rest of the night.
