Despite how tired you are, You try to walk all the way to Sitka, while your food supply is running low, and both your arms hurt like they've never hurt before.

It gets dark pretty early on, but you continue through the forest trails, tripping on roots, rocks and fallen trees.

A creature decides to put you out of your misery by luring you into a river and shoving your head in the water.

You're not alone in the dark, remember.

Also, Sitka is on Baranof Island, not Chichagof Island, anyway.
