You pass by Kayak Island early on- the place where you fought against the dreaded "Malicious Face". All that remains of it is a heap of glowing shards that smell quite a lot like weed.

You may:

• Paddle a little further, then head to land to rest
• Paddle as far as you can by sea
• Try to resurrect the Malicious Face
