You attempt to confuse POSSUM by pointing your gun into your own mouth. He stares at you awkwardly for a few seconds, so you turn the gun back and try to shoot him instead. However, it turns out that POSSUM was only pretending to be confused, and he jumps out of the way before you can shoot him. He then whistles (something the real OPOSSUM can't do) and a crap ton of zombie OPOSSUMS run towards you, tearing you to shreds.
Thankfully, you found the checkpoint, so you’ll easily be able to get back and fight POSSUM again.
