It's an odd sight to see a grown man, albeit a crazy one, crying on the side of the road. You're not five years old. All your batshit adventures should have hardened you by now. You should have become so badass that you could make onions cry like Chuck Norris.
And sitting there, sobbing on the side of road like that, that will just give the road even more opportunities to beat the fuck out of you. And that the highly violent road most certainly does.
