PoorNUnknown 13:20, 29 March 2007 (UTC)This is one of the finest Uncyc pages I've read for a while. If it doesn't become a featured article, there is no justice in this world. RabbiTechno 12:28, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Wow! Thanks a lot!!! --PoorNUnknown 13:20, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Yay! Featured!!! /me falls over in amazement --PoorNUnknown 11:14, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

btw: leave the typos alone: or at least use real words (not ones like 'befour') that would get past a spellchecker --PoorNUnknown 11:23, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Knew it'd be featured. Words such as 'befour' were nothing to do with me, incidentally. RabbiTechno 17:16, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I knew it wasn't you...thanks again. May all your sons become president! --PoorNUnknown 17:38, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

amazing![edit source]

Amazing article!

Thx! --PoorNUnknown 17:38, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I agree, this is one of the funniest articles I have read so far. Good job on the feature, PoorNUnknown! 213.165.173.124 20:16, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
The graphics and captions are excellent! However, I think it was the linkage on "plain old-fashioned money" that had me ROFLMAO.... Gustav7890123 21:41, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks again! Got any sisters? ;) --PoorNUnknown 12:29, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

From Pee Review[edit source]

Go on, you know you want to...

Humour: 7 The good bits of the humor are directly related to the good bit of the concept. Needs more. I always prefer it when the humor develops itself, line by line, pushing the concept in new directions.
Concept: 9 The web-of-old idea is brilliant. I love that. I love it so much, I would just make this a straight history article, and leave out the "shop" stuff and comparisons with today's web.
Prose and formatting: 8 Seems solid enough. I'm the last person to ask though. I hate letters.
Images: 8 Funny because they represent the "history" bit of the concept.
Miscellaneous: 5 I don't know what a Misc. score is for, but I'll use this bit to say I would really raise the score if this were written as straight history and more comedy was injected into the lines - of which, also, there should be more.
Final Score: 37 Good score that could be better.

a comment from the author:...The 'Shoppe' bit refers to something we Brits have in some towns, namely an 'Olde Tea Shoppe' or 'Olde Craft Shoppe' with the 'Shop' bit spelt in a (fake?) Elizabethan way. That's why it's a 'Shoppe'...many thanks for the kind review.--PoorNUnknown 16:28, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Oscar wilde/russian reversal removed[edit source]

Good idea...they're both getting a bit cheesy these days. --PoorNUnknown 09:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
