From Pee Review[edit source]
I reckon The Punisher is my best article so far, though the quotes aren't great. It's about the Marvel Comic hero who is now a video game character. I'd be keen to hear of any ideas for making it even better. Or if you're feeling generous, poke your nose into some of my other articles too. Thanks! Bloopy 11:27, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- Personally, and I could be the only one, but I couldn't get into the concept here. It felt a little too factual to suspend my disbelief as I read it. My problem was mostly the joke. Punisher = violent Superhero/virus? It almost sounds like a vendetta against the video game version. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, I do think you can do better. It really is a visually attractive page, I will comment on that. The writing style was also good. I just think the concept needs to be a bit more radical. Good luck --epynephrin 16:43, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. I wouldn't say it's a vendetta against the video game version, since I don't think I'm putting it in a negative light. You're right that it is a bit factual and the superhero/virus concept is confused, but I'm not sure that I've got any more radical concepts up my sleeve. Bloopy 21:35, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Suggested concept - describe a guy who is obsessed with punishing people, even for the slightest misdemeanour, like giving him the wrong change. Have him come up with these ridiculous long winded punishments. Maybe give him superpowers. Or give him superpowers he never uses because he is too busy punishing people. --Hardwick Fundlebuggy 13:58, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
