I took the liberty of correcting mistakes and omissions made concerning Black women who have appeared as Playboy Playmates.

TOO OFTEN on the web you see the term "Playboy Playmate" applied to nearly every model who has appeared in the magazine. But only Playmates appear in the centerfolds, Playmate Review, annual Playmate calendar, and of course are selected as Playmate of the Year.
