I got shot down at VFH, and would really like a fresh perspective on liquid. What's good? What's bad? Too many mad libs? Too short? Too nerdy? --Aaadddaaammm 09:59, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

• My opinion: it's a good article, a competent and valuable entry in the Vast Corpus of Uncyc. As far as VFH goes, competent and well-written is not enough. Theoretically a VFH article has to be an exceptional concept which is exceptionally well-executed. Realistically a VFH article has to survive a vote of all users and that includes semi-literate fans of anime porn comix as well as readers of Dostoevsky and Carl Sagan. My advice: If you have to write, then write. Don't think about accolades and awards. Uncyc desperately needs a backbone of competent articles because the majority of new articles are incompetent...and far too many of them manage to survive in the Vast Corpus. Further advice: You have a list of your ardickles on your userpage, I see; revisit Liquid and the others occasionally and perhaps further insipiration will strike. ----OEJ 18:48, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
