Talk:After School Tea Time
Given the coming sequel and popularity of the show, I thought K-On! needed an article. Making it about the band rather than the show seemed like a fun idea, and translating moe factor into "rapeability" seemed like a simple but effective base joke.
Any Thoughts?
Feel free to make improvements. I know it's far from perfect. --Walro The Taco King 04:08, February 21, 2010 (UTC)
Well it made me chuckle especially at the lesbian references but the rape jokes get redundant quick. Maybe a joke about their art style? The eyes scare me sometimes. Or an expansion on the lyrics which all sound to be some love confession.
- Kanon's eyes style is even worse D: Well, about the article itself, it's funny, a good work, but you should shorten the number of rape jokes, specially near the end, and also reduce the azu-nyan image, too big. Also, the article needs more lenght (Talk about the plot, that almost doesn't even exist; or about all speculations about the classmates)
- Note: I'm the creator of the new spanish version of this article, but I didn't noticed there was an english version until now --Kurraudo 15:04, April 27, 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Kurraudo, the rape jokes get old after about 4 times. The header is funny (don't you just want to rape them? and You may be looking for child porn and not even know it!), but to go on and on about their "rapeability," (and especially reference a deadpool meme like OVER 9000!!!) seems like you're grasping. Try making it funnier without making every punch line about rape, and maybe add some plot. I know there's isn't a lot of it, but something pertaining to the show like Yui buying a guitar, or Mio's panty-flash incident. There's some potential, right? You could put a little thumbnail of the ricebowl that we thought were Mio's panties at first or something by Mio's name. (Gosh, for all the complaining I do about this article, I should atleast help rewrite it, huh?) But anyway, thanks for making a K-On! page in the first place! I love this anime. Would you be willing to give Soul Eater some special treatment as well? 69.171.164.6 21:44, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
I've returned to this article after over a year and made some assorted edits/cuts. While I still think the redundancy of the rape thing is the central joke, I did cut out the absolutely forced bits ("rapeability ratings" and what not) as I didn't find them at all funny any more or necessary even with the new content you've been adding in to lengthen it. As for the Azusa .gif, not really sure how to easily resize it where it still moves and I'm too lazy to figure it out. --Walro The Taco King 01:16, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
