Stepan Galitsaevych Bandera (Ukrainian: Nash Batko, Russian: Фошызд Фошыздов Фошыздыч) is a Ukrainian anti-semite and founder of the rock band OUN.
Biography[edit | edit source]
He was born in Mukhosransk, Galicia, in 1909, the result of a relationship between a Galician sow and a drunken SS man. His father was also interested in rock music and in 1919 became the drummer for the rock band "Galichina."
Bandera himself became interested in rock in 1929, when he joined the rock band OUN, which performed concerts in Western Ukraine. Ultimately, due to mass unrest and numerous casualties at the concerts in 1936, they were banned. Bandera himself was imprisoned by the Poles in a prison cell with nails for three years (he didn't come to his senses and then continued in the same vein!). In 1939, he was released by the Germans, who had severely defeated the Poles.
In 1941, the OUN changed its name to the UPA, after refusing to slaughter the UPA leadership killed by Bandera in the toilets of the Poles. It resumed its activities, continuing to give concerts throughout Ukraine, supported by German musicians. His concerts in Volyn were particularly popular, where large crowds of his fans would form. However, in 1945, the concerts were banned again, and they were now held underground. At the same time, a new lineup of the rock band was formed, which, in addition to Bandera, included Roman Shukhevych and Yaroslav Stetsko, and their main studio was located in Germany.
In 1959, Bandera was assassinated by an anti-fan while returning from a tour in Munich. However, according to some sources, he did not die, and in 1990, he changed his bandit surname from Bandera to the revolutionary name of Che Rnovol. He also formed a new rock band, "Narodnyi Rukh," which performed throughout Ukraine. However, an attempt to hold a concert in Kyiv in December 1991 failed. He and his army of fans were expelled from the city, and soon after, he killed himself in the name of independence.
The famous Ukrainian rock band "Banderos" was named after Bandera, and Ukrainians believe that Anton Bandera is his grandson. Many Bandera fans believe that he is actually alive and, along with Petliura and Shukhevych, is biding his time in a secluded location. When it comes, they'll come back and kick everyone's ass.
