Here is a list of plants and their statistics. All science and coding!

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • 1 is the damage of a pea.
  • Regular means 6 which means a zombie takes 6 bites to destroy a plant.
  • This guide is only to give you an idea what the plants are about.

Plants found in america[edit | edit source]

Peashooter[edit | edit source]

  • Sun Cost: 100
  • Damage: 1
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Range: 1 lane
  • firing speed: Normal
  • Plant food upgrade: Shoots 65 peas very rapidly.
  • Opinion: Won't help much against the regular 100+ waves in this game. Shit.

Sunflower[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 50
  • Toughness: regular
  • Plant food upgrade: Produces 150 sun.
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Notes: Sun production rate differs between individuals
  • Opinion: Nothing, as this is the most basic plant that you must plant. But you will most likely die before you can build 10.

Wall-Nut[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 50
  • Toughness: 72
  • Plant food upgrade: Creates an iron layer taking an additional 72 damage and also fully heals the wall-nut.
  • Recharge Speed: 30 seconds
  • Notes: Degrades after 24 and 48 bites.
  • Opinion: A plant that used to be very useful, until this game where the hundred wave zombies are a normality. It's also kicked on, and smashed on, unlike the gianut (which is a paid plant). You can't get anything good for free in this game.

Potato mine[edit | edit source]

  • Sun Cost: 25
  • Damage: 90
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Multiplies by 3.
  • Notes: when planted, is unarmed and does not do anything other than to be eaten. Then after a zombie walks 3 and a half squares, arms itself and does 90 damage upon contact. Can be smashed by gargantuars and run over by vehicles, but when armed, will do 90 damage to them. Too low for all straight projectiles to hit.
  • Opinion: This plant used to be very useful for saving sun so you can build some great attacking forces in plants vs zombies 1 and 2, but in this game there is absolutely no chance to save sun as some powerful zombies like the hamster keeper zombie will come early and columns of zombies will quickly enter after that. You will have to act QUICKLY in this game and this just does not cut it.

Cabbage-pult[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 100
  • Damage: 2
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Plant food upgrade: throws a cabbage at every single zombie on screen, each doing 4 damage.
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Range: 1 lane
  • firing speed: Half
  • Notes: Bypasses the shield of Military Zombie.
  • Opinion: Same as peashooter.

Repeater[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 200
  • Damage: 1 per pea
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Range: 1 lane
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Shoots 65 peas, then shoots a big pea that does 15 damage.
  • firing speed: Regular but fires two peas at once
  • Opinion: You won't even use this in plants vs zombies 2, and in this game it's even worse as no matter how many of these you use, you can't win like 90+ zombies on screen. I don't even care if you have a torchwood, don't use it.

Beet[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 175
  • Damage: 2
  • Toughness: regular
  • Range: 1 square ahead and 1 square behind
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Headbutts all squares around it
  • Firing speed: double
  • Opinion: This thing might be powerful, but it's ineffective right after it has been available. Even snapdragon is way better than this.

Plants found in England[edit | edit source]

Puff-Shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 0
  • Damage: 1
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Range: 3.5 squares
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: shoots 65 spores in the 3.5 squares in front of it
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Notes: too small for straight projectiles to hit
  • Opinion: This is a plant that you must spam at the start of a level, but later you must replace them with more effective defenses, as they are shit and don't cut it.

Sun-Shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 25
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Plant food upgrade: Produces 90 sun when small and 150 sun when big
  • Notes: When planted: is small and produces small sun worth 15, but grows up after 30 seconds and after this produces 25 sun. Too small to be hit by straight projectiles, even when large.
  • Recharge speed: 8 Seconds
  • Opinion: use this early on to rack up your sun production, then replace it with twin sunflowers.

Plantern[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 25
  • Toughness: regular
  • Plant food upgrade: none
  • Recharge Speed: 30 Seconds
  • Notes: clears fog 5X5 squares around it. When the plantern is eaten, the fog re-shrouds.
  • opinion: Use a gianut in front of it or pumpkin it in order to protect it. Don't have both? Then I can't help you.

Gunk-shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 75
  • Toughness: regular
  • Range: A lane
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: places gunk on all zombies on screen.
  • Damage: 0
  • firing speed: Regular
  • Range: All zombies stacked on the same square
  • Notes: does not freeze zombonis, sludge zombies and zompanzers.
  • Opinion: This is pretty useful if you have something that can mass kill the zombies, like fume shrooms and a solid defensive plant.

Scaredy-shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 25
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Range: A lane
  • Plant food upgrade: shoots 65 spores.
  • Damage: 1
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Notes: When a zombie approaches in the 3X3 squares around it, it will hide and do nothing and still be eaten.
  • Opinion: Shit.

Fume-shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun Cost: 75
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Range: 4 squares ahead of it
  • Plant food upgrade: Shoots a gas cloud in the 3X4 Squares ahead of it.
  • Damage: 1
  • Recharge Speed: 8 Seconds
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Notes: Bypasses the shield of Military Zombies.
  • Opinion: One of the more powerful free plants in the entire game, you finally get some crowd control. It's perfect around gloom-shrooms as well.

Pop-up shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 50
  • Toughness: Regular (Body), 100 (Cap)
  • Range: Lane
  • Plant food upgrade: Gets an iron layer for its cap
  • Damage: 1
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Notes: When encountering a zombie in front of it, will hide and absorb 72 hits from zombies. Degrades after 24 and 48 bites. Cannot be aided by wall-nut first aid.
  • Opinion: Better than the scaredy-shroom and nothing else. Acts as a good wall-nut though.

Earth Star[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 50
  • Toughness: Normal
  • Range: Tile
  • Damage: 60
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Multiplies by 5.
  • Notes, When stepped on, will do 60 damage to the zombie and multiply by 3.
  • Opinion: Useless.

Plants found in Japan[edit | edit source]

Heat Pad[edit | edit source]

  • Sun Cost: 0
  • Toughness: Normal
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Notes: Can be planted on top of snow and protects plants that were planted over it from snow as well.
  • Opinion: Vital plant in Japan levels.

Snapdragon[edit | edit source]

Sun cost: 150

  • Toughness: Normal
  • Range: 2X3 Squares in front of it
  • Damage: 1.7
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Plant food upgrade: Raises above the ground and deals 90 damage to all zombies in the 3X3 Squares in front of it.
  • Notes: Can relight dynamites, can bypass a Military zombie's shield.
  • Opinion: Excellent plant, as it can take care of multiple zombies, have decent firepower and make good aids for defensive plants. Its plant food upgrade also dents gargantuars as well. Too awfully it has poor synergy with winter melons, and thus not recommended in most situations where you will have to use one.

Threepeater[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 325
  • Toughness: Normal
  • Range: 3 lanes: its lane, the lane above it, and the lane below it
  • Damage: 1 (per pea)
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Plant food upgrade: Makes a wildfire of peas in 3 lanes.
  • Opinion: No matter how many directions you can shoot, no matter how powerful you are, if you can't kill 100+ zombies at once, you are trash. Therefore, this plant is trash.

Spikeweed[edit | edit source]

  • sun cost: 100
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Range: Tile
  • Damage: 1
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Protrudes spikes from the ground and also draw zombies into the spikeweed
  • Notes: Can kill a zomboni in one hit before dying. Gargantuars and zompanzers kill it instantly without trouble.
  • Opinion: less powerful than the spikerock

Tall-Nut[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 125
  • Toughness: 144 Bites
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Gets an iron shell which blocks it from an additional 144 hits and also fully heals it.
  • Notes: Appearance changes after 48 and 96 bites. Can break swords from Armored samurai zombies.
  • Opinion: Can't block gargantuars and kicker zombies, so it's pointless in most situations.

Cocaine[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 75
  • Toughness: 1 bite
  • Recharge Speed: 30 seconds
  • Range: upon consumption
  • Plant food upgrade: Hallucinates all zombies on the screen that are affected by it.
  • Notes: When eaten by a zombie, Turns that zombie around and the zombie will start eating other zombies while shifting lanes after eating a zombie. When multiple zombies are affected, they can eat each other.
  • Opinion: Unfortunately, the worst zombies in this game do not eat at all. Except for your brain.

Spikerock[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 250
  • Toughness: 3 smashes or tire pops
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 2
  • Range: Tile
  • Plant Food Upgrade: Protrudes spikes from the ground and draws zombies into the spikerock.
  • Notes: Can take 3 hits from gargantuars or kill 3 zombonis before dying. Can bypass Military Zombie's shields. Does not stop zompanzers because it does not have inflated tires.
  • Opinion: Nice temporary buffer against Zombonis and gargantuars. Also has crowd control as well, unlike Peashooters.

Iceberg lettuce[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 0
  • Toughness: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Damage: 0
  • Range: Tile
  • Plant food upgrade: Freezes all zombies on screen.
  • Notes: when a zombie touches it, it will freeze for 10 seconds. Can be directly planted on snow. Can defuse dynamites instantly, harden the sludge of sludge zombies and freeze the gloves of mime zombies. Too small for straight projectiles to hit. Does not affect zombonis.
  • Opinion: Pointless. Saving sun is pointless in this game as it will get you overwhelmed instantly. However, one can be placed in the back and you can use plant food on it for emergencies. But since you will be only getting 1 to two plant food in most levels, it is pointless. (Unless you have coins.)

Plants found in China[edit | edit source]

Pure Lilypad[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 25
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Notes: Can be planted on top of sewage
  • Opinion: Vital plant in china stages.

Kernel-pult[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 100
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 1 (Kernel), 2 (Butter)
  • Range: lane
  • Plant food upgrade: throws butter to all zombies.
  • Firing speed: Half
  • Notes: Throws kernels which do 1 damage each, but has a 25% chance of throwing butter. The butter stuns zombies for 10 seconds on contact, and is reset if another stick of butter is thrown. Can defuse dynamites, but does not affect Zombonis and zompanzers.
  • Opinion: Just because it freezes enemies does not mean it is a good thing, as it has the inability to take care of 100+ zombie waves and it also sometimes throw kernel. The only other good thing about is it will possibly become buttered popcorn for 100+ zombies 7 groups later.

Split-Pea[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 125
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 1 (per pea)
  • Range: The entire lane, in front and behind
  • Plant food upgrade: Shoots 65 peas frontwards and 65 peas backwards, then the head in back shoots a large pea that does 15 damage.
  • Notes: When a zombie is in the same square as the split-pea, three peas will shoot the same zombie.
  • Opinion: Avoid this thing. Just use gloom-shrooms.

Coffee bean[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 50
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Notes: Can only be planted on top of a sleeping mushroom. When planted on top of a mushroom, will float for a while before dissolving and awakening the mushroom. Can only be selected at America, Japan, and china.
  • Opinion: Useful if you want to use gloom shrooms.

Lightning reed[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 125
  • Toughness: regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Firing speed: Regular
  • Damage: 0.6
  • Range: 3 lanes: its own lane and the lanes below and above it.
  • Plant food upgrade: Sends in a thunder cloud which targets random zombies. After targeting for 20 seconds, the cloud dissapears.
  • Notes: Will strike a lightning bolt to the nearest zombie in 3 lanes, and the lightning also arcs to nearby zombies doing 0.5 splash damage each. Can defuse Gloves from mime zombies.
  • Opinion: Slightly more useful than other plants, and two columns make excellent counters against Hamster keeper zombies. Can also defuse mime zombie's electric gloves, but doesn't matter here as you are better off using winter melons.

Coconut cannon[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 400
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Cooldown duration: 16 seconds
  • Damage: 45
  • Plant food upgrade: Sends a giant coconut which pushes zombies to the right and when it reaches the far right of the screen, it explodes. Can be used during cooldown, but will start if not.
  • Notes: When planted, tap on the coconut cannon to fire. The coconut deals 45 damage to the zombie hit by it and also deals splash damage to surrounding zombies. After it fires, it requires a 16 second cooldown before it can be tapped to fire again.
  • Opinion: You will most likely die before you can create this and it won't help when hundreds of zombies seek your brain. The splash damage is way too medicore against hundreds of zombies as well, especially most of them being gargantuars.

Starfruit[edit | edit source]

  • Sun Cost: 125
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge Speed: 8 seconds
  • Firing speed: Normal
  • Range: Five directions: 1 going up, one going behind, one going to the upper right, one going to the lower right, and another one going down.
  • Plant food ugrade: Shoots 65 stars per direction it fires in
  • Damage: 1 (per star)
  • Notes: When a zombie is in front of the starfruit, it will be hit by two stars.
  • Opinion: Despite in plants vs zombies 1 amassing starfruits will make you win the level easily, it doesen't in this game, as basically any level has hundreds of zombies on screen, and I don't care if your lawn is filled with starfruits, a zompanzer or 30 gargantuars can wreck you in seconds.

Cactus ball[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 250
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • firing speed: normal
  • Range: 9 directions: a projectile going in the lower right, one going in the lower left, one going to the upper right, one going to the upper left; one going foward, one going backward, one going above and one going below.
  • Damage: 1 (per spike)
  • Plant food upgrade: Fires 65 spikes in all directions it fires in.
  • Notes: Spikes pierce multiple zombies
  • Opinion: Better than the starfuit and should replace starfruits and threepeaters as a mainstream multidirectional plant. Still weak, so it won't replace the gloom-shroom anytime soon.

Plants available in world graveyard[edit | edit source]

Grave buster[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 0
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 10 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Notes: Can only planted on graves. When it gets planted on a grave, It will destroy the grave within 4.5 seconds. A zombie can destroy it during this process, and when it is eaten, the grave will raise back in its previous state.
  • Opinion: Necessary in the world graveyard. Without it you will die a lot as graves take even longer to destroy than in PVZ2 and also spawn zombies faster than you can deal with.

Bunker leaf[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 75
  • Toughness: Regular/2 Zombnukes
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Range: 3X3 squares around it
  • Notes: Can take two hits from zombnukes.
  • Opinion: Useful on the first few levels with zombnukes, and that's it. It obviously cannot defend 8 zombnukes dropping on your lawn at ONCE.

Magnet-Shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 100
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Cooldown period: 15 seconds
  • Range: 5X7 squares around it
  • Plant food upgrade: Evaporates all metal objects. Can be used during cooldown, but Will start cooldown if not.
  • Notes: Steals the solar zombie's sun absorber, Football Zombie's helmet, Buckethead zombie's helmet, Armored samurai's helmet or sword, digger zombie's pickaxe, and military zombie's rocket launcher. After stealing a single metallic object, will start a cooldown of 15 seconds before it can steal a metallic object again.
  • Opinion: This is pretty useful in the most simple levels in plants vs zombies 1, but in this game, this plant sucks as it cannot handle 50 bucket head zombies and among other metallic zombies at once. However, you can place one in the back and use plant food on it when needed, but too bad it has the same problems as the iceberg lettuce.

Chili bean[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 75
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Range: Upon consumption
  • Plant food upgrade: multiplies by 3
  • Notes: When eaten by a zombie, kills the zombie instantly and the zombie farts, releasing gas which paralyses zombies behind the affected zombie for 10 seconds. Does not affect any zombie that does not eat. Too small for straight projectiles to hit.
  • Strategy: Won't affect most of the dangerous zombies in the game, so it won't work.

Gloom-shroom[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 175
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 1 (per fume)
  • Range: the 1 squares around it; 3X3
  • Plant food upgrade: creates 90 fume projectiles around it
  • Firing speed: 4X
  • Notes: Bypasses the shield of military zombie.
  • opinion: Possibly the second best plant ever if inside a pumpkin, and it's also the best weapon against 40+ digger zombies coming at once. Unfortunately due to its short range it's often picked on by zompanzers.

Leech Seed[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 75 sun
  • Toughness: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Range: On the same square as the infected zombie
  • Notes: Must be planted on a bipedal zombie. When planted on an infectable zombie, will start to deal 1 damage per 0.7 seconds, and will spread itself to zombies that it can infect on the same square. After dealing 200 damage total or there are no more zombies to spread to, will disappear on its own. Cannot be eaten, run over or smashed, but can be blown up by dynamites.
  • Opinion: Useful for destroying a lot of stacked up zombies, and is one of the few useful plants which were given free.

Zomplant[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 150 sun
  • Toughness: 10
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 3 per bite
  • Range: 1 square ahead
  • Firing speed: Normal
  • Plant food upgrade: Gives itself football headwear and can now take 90 bites.
  • Opinion: Power is useless if you can't take down hundreds of zombies. This plant is just a gimmick.

Melon-pult[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 300 sun
  • Toughness: regular
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Range: Lane, 3X3 squares around target zombie
  • Firing speed: Half
  • Damage: 4 (Direct hit), 1.5 (splash)
  • Plant food upgrade: Throws melons onto all Zombies on screen.
  • Notes: Bypasses the shields of Military zombie.
  • Opinion: Useful for complimenting winter melons, and nothing else.

[edit | edit source]

Here is a list of paid plants where this epically atrocious company who made this game scams you to buy in the greatest and most legitmate scam in zombie history! Be prepared to have your wallet voided!

Twin sunflower[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 125 sun
  • Toughness: Regular
  • Recharge speed: 10 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: produces 300 sun
  • Notes: Produces 50 sun per production. slower than a regular sunflower.
  • Opinion: Useful for building lots of winter melons, gianuts, and melon-pults, but requires power lily, which you will most likely buy anyway.

Cherry bomb[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 150 sun
  • Toughness: N/A
  • Recharge Speed: 50 Seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Damage: 90
  • Range: 3X3 squares
  • Notes: Cannot be destroyed by normal means. However, a dynamite zombie's dynamite or the zombnuke will destroy it when timed correctly.
  • Opinion: Useful for emergencies and weakening gargantuars and zompanzers. However it's paid, so your sorry ass will not get a chance.

Jalapeno[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 125 sun
  • Toughness: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 50 seconds
  • Plant Food upgrade: N/A
  • Damage: 90

  • Notes: Cannot be destroyed by normal means. However, a dynamite zombie's dynamite or the zombnuke will destroy it when timed correctly.
  • Opinion: Useful for emergencies and weakening gargantuars and zompanzers. However it's paid, so your sorry ass will not get a chance.

Squash[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 50 sun
  • Toughness: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Smashes two random zombies.
  • Damage: 90
  • Range: one square in front of it and one square behind it
  • Notes: Cannot be destroyed by normal means but can be destroyed by zombie explosions. Also takes regular damage from a pea.
  • Opinion: Useful for weakening zompanzers and gargantuars. But the same logic applies.

Winter melon[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 500 sun
  • Toughness: 6
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 4 (direct hit), 1.5 (Splash)
  • Firing speed: half
  • Plant food upgrade: Lauches frozen melons onto all zombies on screen
  • Range: Lane, 3X3 squares around damaged zombie
  • Notes: Projectiles chill zombies, which causes them to walk and attack at half speed. Chill effect can defuse Mime zombie's electric gloves, defuse dynamites, and harden sludges. Chill does not affect Zombonis. Can be planted on snow.
  • Opinion: Most useful plant in the entire game, but needs a lot of premium plants to make it work.

Pumpkin[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 125 sun
  • Toughness: 72
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Notes: Can be planted over another plant, save for the gianut. Appearance changes after 24 and 48 bites.
  • Opinion: Excellent protection against most zombies that eat in the entire game but before you can have all your plants in pumpkins you will most likely die.

Snow Pea[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 150 sun
  • Toughness: 6
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Damage: 1
  • Firing speed: regular
  • Range: lane
  • Plant food upgrade: Slows down all zombies on lane, shoots 65 frozen peas.
  • Notes: Projectiles chill zombies, which causes them to walk and attack at half speed. Chill effect can defuse Mime zombie's electric gloves, defuse dynamites, and harden sludges. Chill does not affect Zombonis. Can be planted directly on snow.
  • Opinion: Trash.

Imitater[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: As the imitated plant
  • Toughness: As the imitated plant
  • Recharge speed: As the imitated plant
  • Damage: As the imitated plant
  • Range: As the imitated plant
  • Plant food upgrade: As the imitated plant
  • Firing speed: As the imitated plant
  • Cooldown duration: As the imitated plant
  • Notes: Cannot be eaten, but can be destroyed using other methods if planted near enough. The player must select a plant to copy before selecting the imitator.
  • Opinion: There usually are not enough seed slots for this.

Torchwood[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 175
  • Toughness: 6
  • Recharge speed: 8 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: Turns the torchwood's fire into napalm and peas that pass though it do 4X damage.
  • Notes: Peas that pass through this plant turn into fireballs and do 2 damage.
  • Opinion: This plant used to be really op in pvz 1 because it does splash damage to zombies, but in order to scam your money, EA made it NOT do splash damage in this game, and due to this it becomes absolute scam at finest and robbery at worst. Don't buy it.

Power lily[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 175
  • Toughness: 6
  • Recharge speed: 50 seconds
  • Plant food upgrade: N/A
  • Notes: When planted, creates one plant food out of thin air and disappears. Too fast to be eaten, but can be killed by other methods when planted near enough.
  • Opinion: This will be your main source of plant food save for coins, and you absolutely need it to complete most levels of the game.

Gianut[edit | edit source]

  • Sun cost: 200
  • Toughness: 500
  • Plant food upgrade: Adds an iron armor which gives it an additional 300 bites.
  • Recharge speed: 30 seconds
  • Notes: Gargantuars will get so tired that they die after 4 smashes (which does not affect this plant) and Kicker zombies will die after 2 attempts to kick this plant. Armored samurai zombies will break their sword on this plant. Can still be crushed by vehicles, and will be killed by sludge zombies. Mime zombies cannot electrocute the gianut. Cannot be protected by a pumpkin.
  • Opinion: Best defensive plant ever and is the only useful defensive plant in the game save for the pumpkin. Is also an expert scammer of 5 USD.
