Mojang Studios is a games-development company that creates both the best game, and the worst games.
While Mojang could spend their time making Minecraft updates people actually like, they will instead spend a billion dollars making a spinoff of Minecraft that nobody likes or plays, further destroying the reputation of Minecraft in Mojang's greed and corporate corruption.
Recent updates to the base game have been along these lines: "oh no, the fans are restless, lets shut them up by releasing a vote for 3 mobs we already have the code for, because we're too lazy to add all 3 mobs to the game like everyone wants". Or they make lazy attempts for parity between the two versions of the game, they actually make one version worse instead of improving the other one - going so far as to fix obscure features instead of fixing vital bugs that are breaking the game.
In Mojang's feeble attempt at "parity" between Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock, they refuse to give bedrock players the ability to build on the Nether roof like you can in Java edition. Their reasoning for this is "it's a bug, so we wont add it". It may be a bug, but the amount of java players use it is insane. Bedrock players want this "bug" a lot. Just give them what they want, idiots.
