Marco Arturo is a mexican boy who made a video on internet yelling on a camera with a bunch of papers saying how anti-vaxxers are a bunch of retards.

About him[edit | edit source]

The anti-vaccination movement is very strong, they only can be destroyed if a child make a video mocking them.

In 2016 Marco made a short pro-vaccine video showing how anti-vaxxers are stupid, and when the video went viral internationally, a lot of anti-vaxxers started to complain about Marco. The video was spreaded by websites like BuzzFeed [1] and was shared by Ashton Kutcher, and lots of conspirationist bloggers started writing texts "exposing" Marco [2], saying things like that he wasn't a child, but a 40 years old midget.

People alredy forgot Marco's video, but he is still a little bit famous on social media because of his scientific experiments, livestreams and specially his memes. When Marco (ironically) said he was a communist, some right-wing conspirationists started complaining about him again. Marco seems to be very intelligent, considering the fact that he was the chemistry teacher of his own class in school despite being 3 years advanced, and also, he went to college at 15 years old...Yes, he is a little bit better than you.

Marco has a duck and a lot of lizards as pets. What? Why not cats?

In 2018, the New York Times made an article about him[3]. In 2019 he viralized again by posting some photos from the Mexican Revolution, colorizing to them. His restorations are now being used as propaganda by zapatist guerrilas.

In 2021, Marco turned 18 and graduated in biology. He's been playing Steve Irwin making informative videos and taking pictures with annoying insects and animals no one wants to put their hands on like snakes, frogs and lizards. Marco is becoming more and more famous and sporadically appears in Mexican newspapers and talk shows (which are not podcasts) on YouTube.
