Judge Holden (Born April 20, 1852) was an American jurist who served as the chief justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1973 to 2011. He was the first albino jurist in the history of the court. Judge Holden stands over 7 feet tall and has been reported to display abnormally high intelligence. He has also shown incredible strength several times, leading many to fear him. He dances in light and shadow and he is a great favorite. Dancing, dancing, like an enormous infant.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Little is known about Judge Holden's past. He prefers to be called "the Judge," and states that he was born in 1852, in the American Southwest. His real name is unknown, and nobody has ever reported to have ever heard of him prior to his appointment.

Judge Holden has been described as a nihilist and a Social Darwinist.
Depictions in popular culture[edit | edit source]
Judge Holden is the main antagonist of the novel "Blood Meridian," by famous historian Cormac McCarthy. The Judge has praised this image of him as "very pleasing," and readers of the book have agreed that his depiction is accurately intimidating.
