Hollywood, Georgia is a hick-town located in the northern part of Habersham County, Georgia. Hollywood consists of two gas stations, two restaurants (not including the methed-out Subway in the Circle K), two churches, approximately 300 trailers, and 23 houses with a value above $75,000. The make up of Hollywood means that it is better than Alto, Baldwin, and Mount Airy, due to the lack of liquor stores and the predominately white population.

Demographics[edit | edit source]

Hollywood is predominately White, with 99.75% of households being 100% White. Approximately 0.23% of households are Mexican, with 0.02% being African American. In the 2010 Census, 55% of the White male population were polled as "Wanna-be Rednecks", meaning that each person drives around a 250/2500 model 4x4 truck or higher, with 90% of this population having no reason to do so other than "it looks cool" "It's my Diddy's truck", or "It's nice to have if I need it". (Note: They will never need it). The remaining 45% of the White male population were considered "pure crackheads" meaning that they have an income of less than $16,000 per year and own less than one (1) car. Of the White female population, 63% were polled as "having no job", and the Census noted that this could be due to a variety of reasons, not limited to "Drugs, Lack of Work Ethic, Husband brings home enough money to support the family, or Child related purposes". The remaining 37% of women polled as "Having a Job", meaning that they actually contribute to society.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Hollywood is located on the side of US 441/GA 365, between the highway and Old US 441, which isn't to be confused with New 441. Downtown Hollywood is located at this area, with all reputable businesses and the town's two churches being located here. Outside of the immediate downtown area, the approximately 323 households are scattered through relatively nice areas, which were placed on land Pops bought after he returned from Vietnam in '83 (extended tour).

Education[edit | edit source]

Hilarious.

Seriously. Hilarious.

Ok, fine. There's an elementary school up the road from the Circle K and Exxon gas stations, which is surrounded by 76% of the town's mobile home population. Most town residents are lucky to make it to 4th grade, with 25% only ever obtaining a High School/GED, and 1.936% of this population making the trek to Redneck Tech or a higher-education college.

Notable People[edit | edit source]

Ross Dover, Mayor of Hollywood, Incumbent since 1994. Can be found most days outside of whichever gas station hasn't banned him for the month.

Stance, lifelong-resident of Mount Airy but claims Hollywood residency, can be found at the Fire Dept. or backing out into traffic.

Pops, "Hollywood's Prodigal Son", everybody knows and loves him. He can do no wrong in Habersham County.
