I was attempting to hide the "Categories:" box on the bottom of the Kenny McCormick article while retaining functional categorization, so I could replace it with my own simulated Cat box. I couldn't find a way to do that, so I simply forced mine on top of it with absolute positioning (as was done on ROT13). This displays as intended in Firefox, but apparently not in IE 6.0, on which it underflows the automatic Cat box instead, which kinda sucks. 1) Anybody want to confirm this? 2) Are there other browser-related incompatibility issues with this kind of "cheat" I should know about? 3) Would there be any there any other realistic option(s) for locally disabling the category autodisplay (as like TOC/NOTOC)? --DW III CUN.pngOUN.png 13:52, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Sdrawkcab seems to do what you want without any hacks by using a custom skin: [1] You can probably get most of what you need by copying the #catlinks block into a new skin file and including it in Mediawiki:Uncyclopedia.js. --Algorithm 18:43, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
I created the new css file & appended info to Mediawiki:Uncyclopedia.js, but seems not to have any effect in IE... still looking where it's going wrong... --DW III CUN.pngOUN.png 06:31, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Be sure to clear your cache. --Splaka 06:41, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
yeah, did that AND restored what Carlb reverted in js; still not working as intended... --DW III CUN.pngOUN.png 06:53, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
The category boxes are missing, at least, on those two pages for me. --Splaka 07:06, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
I think I see what happened: the blank reskinning overwrote on both those pages. If I can't get it to work, I will revert/delete later. --DW III CUN.pngOUN.png 07:24, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
