What I have asked to be done at Forum:Redirect overwrite and restoration messages last year still has not been done yet.

Can an active administrator please do all of the following as soon as possible?

• Change the wikitext of MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-restore to $1 {{GENDER:$2|hacked up}} page $3 ($4), so that the count of restored revisions is clearly visible.
• Change the wikitext of MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-delete to $1 {{GENDER:$2|huffed}} page $3, since the default message uses gender.
• Finally, change the wikitext of MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-delete redir to $1 {{GENDER:$2|huffed}} redirect $3 by overwriting, for consistency with MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-delete.

At least, MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-restore-nocount has already been fixed to say $1 {{GENDER:$2|hacked up}} page $3, and now three other MediaWiki namespace pages should be fixed as well. TheTrangGuy (talk) 00:31, 18 July 2020 (UTC)

@Zombiebaron: There is still a problem. The deletion and restoration messages are mixed up. Please fix MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-restore to say $1 {{GENDER:$2|hacked up}} page $3 ($4), and MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-delete to say $1 {{GENDER:$2|huffed}} page $3. @Zombiebaron: Two last things to fix: Please remove ($4) from the end of MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-delete, and add ($4) to the end of MediaWiki:Logentry-delete-restore instead. TheTrangGuy (talk) 01:35, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
