Welcome![edit source]

Hello, Smilo12, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Smilo12/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  --EMC [TALK] 13:14 Apr 8 2010

RE: Question[edit source]

Sorry nobody from our community responded. There is currently a German-language Uncyclopedia. Depending on what you're looking for and the limitations of yours and their host, you may be able to invite them to incorporate their content and community into yours, or vice-versa. I'd love to see a merger of these two projects, though I can see some difficulties in doing so (merging wikis is always difficult). Whether or not that's a step your community would like to consider (if you'd like to coexist peacefully with them, that's perfectly fine, but please address their community if you haven't already with this proposal), for your site to become part of the Uncyclopedia family and be included in our Foreign Office, we'll need to see some sort of proof of a community consensus - possibly a vote - that this is the will of your site's community.

Once this is the case, I'll address sannse and our community about inter-wiki linking and your site will be included in the Uncyclopedia Babel and in our Foreign Office. Mind you, this does not mean that Uncyclopedia has any rights or authority on your site and your community will still remain completely independent of Uncyclopedia or any other Uncyclopedia projects in other languages. --EMC [TALK] 17:45 Jul 8 2010

Alright, I'm going to bring this to the proper channels and I'll get back to you sometime within the next few hours about this. Who's Stupidedia's web host?. --EMC [TALK] 19:46 Jul 17 2010
Also, please notify the current German Uncyclopedia and ask them for their input. --EMC [TALK] 20:06 Jul 17 2010
Yes. I'm still working on getting interwiki linking to Stupidedia through Wikia. Could you provide me a rough summary of what their community discussed on their discussion about the issue? Thanks. --EMC [TALK] 11:16 Jul 28 2010
Have you considered having two German language Uncyclopedias seperated by some kind of large solid structure? Even though there are seperate sites if they are both working fine at the moment I can't see a need to merge the two wikis together in any way. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

We asked Sannse two months to create the interwiki links, but she told us she was too busy to do it and to contact her about it again in a couple of months. We could probably request it here too. I'll go ahead and make that request today and drop Sannse a line. Will keep you updated. --EMC [TALK] 22:04 Dec 27 2010
