But I really want for Matt to like, wake up. And for Alice to break up with Max(AIDS purposes) and fall in love with Matt instead, yadda yadda, possible marriage, death and credits. It doesn't have to be completely generic.

You see, this is the whole point of the thing: it's generic and it's main character is a cute little kid. And by the way it is generic for the kid to finally get that older girl who he's in love with...very generic. Also UnProvise is not really meant to be controlled! Of course Matt will wake up and win this game. Unfortunately we just really need to get someone else to play someone in his team for the generic victory. Yeah, but why does it have to be a 10 or 12 year age difference? Most sports films aren't like The Story of Micheal Jordan meets I Love Lucy. I haven't seen a sports film so cliche that a woman "makes love" at around 15, and underaged(21+, unfortunately) drinking.
