Okay, this is your "talk page." Every time someone changes it, you'll get that beige box advising you that you have new messages--and they'll be here.

Various users take it upon themselves to formally welcome new users, and they have glitzy files with all the important things to know. I am not one of those users (only the curator of Global warming), and all I can remember is the advice for you to read Uncyclopedia:How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid (HTBFANJS). You are obviously not in need of remedial training, but it contains wisdom, and it's as close as we come to having a Style Guide. Hmm, what else? Oh yeah, always remember to sign your correspondence (but not your contributions into articles) by typing ~~~~ at the end. Have fun! Spıke ¬  04:26 29-Jan-10

Global warming[edit source]

I lightly edited your contribution to Global warming before installing it. My personal contribution to the style guide is in User:SPIKE/Cliches-1, because my hot button is people who write pompous verbiage trying to sound like an encyclopedia and telling us how scientists have definitively proven, yadda yadda. For God's sake, just state it. This is an encyclopedia, and it will sound plenty definitive. Anyway, I took out a couple of your encyclopedia clichés, but there are a couple more, and I might savage it further--or you might. Spıke ¬  04:45 29-Jan-10

Thank you for the welcome and guidence. Please do edit and thus teach. I will read the guides. This is a bit of an issue for me so it is good to have a laugh and take a poke at them.. you know.. Them. Many thanks again. Gandalfnet 04:53, January 29, 2010 (UTC)User:Gandalfnet 23:53 28-Jan-10
